“Probably the best qualifying lap of my life!
I’m so happy today. The Abu Dhabi course is long and has many curves, but it feels great to be able to put it together well.
I knew I could fight well, but this weekend it was very difficult to understand the tires. I think we were able to understand and prepare everything at the right time for qualifying. So after immersing myself in this lingering sound for a while, I’ll switch my mind to tomorrow’s race and focus on it.
I will start in seventh place but I have a good base and hope I can get better results tomorrow.
If the car is finished to my liking, I can run very fast and I think everyone can see the results of the race. I am very happy with the car at the moment, so let’s finish with the best results of the season. “
