In Saitama prefecture, 104 new corona virus infections and 3 deaths were announced on Day 1.
The prefecture has announced that two women in their 80s have died. One of them is a resident of “Akatsuki”, a facility for the elderly in Fukaya city, where a group (group of infected people) occurred. Furthermore, the city of Saitama announced the death of a man in his 70s in the city.
The breakdown of the announcement of new infected people is from 69 prefectures, 14 from Saitama city, 3 from Kawagoe city, 11 from Kawaguchi city and 7 from Koshiya city.
According to the prefecture, four men and women between the ages of 40 and 70 are medical workers at the “Sugano Hospital” in Wako City, and a total of 25 people are infected at the hospital. According to Saitama City, women in their twenties are teachers at a municipal elementary school, and there are a total of five infected people in the school, including three children. The city’s health center states that “the infection route has been identified and is not a cluster.”
According to Kawagoe City, 80-year-old women and 60-year-old men are inpatients and former patients at “Akashindo Hospital”, and there are a total of nine infected people at the hospital. According to the city of Koshiya, one of the people announced on November 30 was a resident of the special nursing home “Harukaen”, and the total number of infected people in the facility was nine.
