At the nursing home in the city, 13 residents were confirmed to be infected and the number of infected people was 14, including the findings so far, forming a new group.
The prefecture announced the infection of 20 people. They are all located in Yamato city and in the “Midorino Rehabilitation Hospital”, where so far 4 people have been infected, 1 resident and 1 person related to the facility, and 8 people are known to be infected. The infections of one staff member and two patients were found and recently certified as clusters.
The city of Sagamihara has announced the infection of 11 people. Of these, an employee and three residents were found to be infected in a special nursing home for the elderly in Chuo district, where one resident had already been infected and was recently certified as a group. At Sagamihara South Station (Minami District), one officer was found to be infected and the number of groups was 11.
Yokosuka City announced the infection of two people. A male office worker in his thirties is a driver who works at the Keihin Kyuko Bus Kinugasa sales office, where the cluster occurred, and the total number of infected people in the sales office was six.
The city of Kawasaki announced the infection of 29 people and the city of Fujisawa announced the infection of 8 people.
