Tomorrow the 13th, the morning cold will ease throughout the country. In the future, the temperature will tend to be high and next week there will be a “summer day” with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees or more in western Japan, so it is likely to be unusually warm.
Kesa (12) on a cold morning
Today’s morning (12) was a cold morning nationwide due to the effects of cold air and radiant cooling. The morning’s lowest temperature was below 0 degrees at more than 300 of the 920 Amedas observation points nationwide. The temperature in central Tokyo was 6.2 degrees, in Sendai it was 0.9 degrees and in Kanazawa it was 5.2 degrees, the lowest temperatures of the season.
Tomorrow (13) will ease the morning chill
As cold air near Japan moves northward, cold weather is expected to subside across the country in the morning tomorrow (13). The expected minimum temperature tomorrow morning is 4 degrees in Sapporo, which is about 2 degrees higher than normal, and it seems that there are many places in Hokkaido that are higher than normal. On the other hand, in Tohoku and Kanto, the cold weather will be less than today, but in many places it will be lower than normal. The lowest temperature is expected to be 3 degrees in Sendai and 7 degrees in Tokyo.
From Tokai to Kyushu to Okinawa, it is expected that there are many places that are as high as normal. The expected minimum temperature is 10 degrees in Nagoya, 13 degrees in Osaka, 9 degrees in Fukuoka and 20 degrees in Naha.
Warm on the weekends, warmer next week
The temperature is expected to be even higher after the start of the week. In eastern and western Japan, the daytime temperature exceeds 20 degrees Celsius, and in Kyushu, the maximum temperature is 25 degrees Celsius or higher, which is a “summer day”, and there seem to be days when it will be unusually warm.
