After finishing the Emilia Romagna GP of F1 Round 13 (Imora Circuit) qualifying the first two days in F1 history, Max Felstappen (Red Bull Honda) looked back as follows. F1 will be held at the Imola circuit for the first time in 14 years since 2006.

“The pace was broken due to the problems that occurred in Q2, and it was a bit of a busy qualifying.
Normally in qualifying I knew how much more time I could have and could gradually increase the pace towards that, but that was not the case today. Because I had to make a decision in one lap, betting on Q3 on medium tires in Q2.
In Q3 after that, I had a little problem in the first half because there was little information on soft tires. I think the 3rd place result was the highest result we were able to achieve. I didn’t expect to beat the Mercedes, but if qualifying went smoothly, I think the gap could have been reduced even more.
I thanked the mechanics after the session. Helped again by your wonderful work, I was able to safely return to Q2. They are always very proud of doing their best, even when it seems impossible.
This circuit is a very fun course to run. I thought it was a tight circuit for the F1 machine to run, but it didn’t look like it. I hope we can have a good race tomorrow. “
