So what is the actual performance when connected to 5G? With the Docomo and Softbank SIM cards, I went to nearby 5G points and measured the speed. First of all, docomo. In this sense, Softbank is the same. I took 5G at the intersection just after leaving Meguro station, but it dropped below 266 Mbps at high speed and 100 Mbps at low speed. Still, it is a digit larger than 4G, so the benefits of 5G are sufficient, but the area of the three companies is too small. In the future, KDDI and Softbank have indicated a policy of expanding the 5G area at the same time deviating the frequency from 4G, but at least for the moment, they are not connected at any time or anywhere like 4G.
