――Finally it’s the Autumn Flower Award.
Matsuyama: I’ve been doing well so far, and I think it’s finally over.
――Are you feeling nervous?
Matsuyama Hay. I think I can challenge with a sense of tension.
――Do you feel like this every day?
Matsuyama That is correct. I think I’ve been thinking about it since the beginning of this week.
“I don’t think everyone can experience this kind of tension. Cast?
Matsuyama: I think I experienced it early and I’m really grateful to be there.
–Spring emerged unscathed from four consecutive victories. The Sakuraka award has passed the heavy playing field.
Matsuyama: I don’t think it was a Baba that could be easily reached, but it cut it off. I think it has become a way that shows the difference in power.
――In the 2400m Oaks, where the distance increased by one stage, it showed us the fastest final stage in the history of the race.
Matsuyama: I was a little worried about the negotiations because the distance was extended, but I was able to build up firmly and in the end he used really wonderful legs.
– Do you feel the difference with other horses?
Matsuyama I feel like the trip is very good.
――When did you feel the extraordinaryness of Dearing Tact?
Matsuyama: I’ve been using great legs since I was Shinma, but it wasn’t until the Sakuraka Award ended that I thought it really got better. And I felt the softness of the oaks, and I felt that I had improved a lot.
――What about the mental aspect?
Matsuyama After a summer, I returned to Kurito and felt that I was growing a little mentally. There was a place where I was a little weak, so I thought it was good.
-Was “strength” the only challenge for this horse?
Matsuyama That is correct. After all, I think it is a good idea to get rid of it, so I hope the area disappears as much as possible.
– Did you feel any change in the horse’s body during the summer?
Matsuyama Yes. I gained weight and felt like I had come back with even more power.
――Please tell us about the training. Horseback riding on September 24, 30 and October 7. How you feel?
Matsuyama is going well. I think I have been able to train very well riding horses and running alone on slopes.
――What’s the difference with spring?
Matsuyama: I don’t think there is anything that has changed that much.
――How was the second round?
Matsuyama, I feel like I was able to do a really good second lap. Since this week is a horse race, I think I could run in a relaxed state without putting too much load on it.
――The stage this time is 2000m of grass around Kyoto. So what?
Matsuyama: I think there is no problem with Dearing Tact.
――While it is said that there is no solid escape horse, do you have any images in your mind?
Matsuyama I wish I could ride my own horse race with the flow.
――What do you care about the frame number?
Matsuyama Nothing in particular.
– It is a rain forecast on weekends. You’ve won the Heavy Cherry Blossom award, but what about that?
Matsuyama: I think it is a horse that can handle that very well.
– Are you talking to the producer’s side?
Matsuyama: I don’t have much of a chance to talk about this situation (* the Corona disaster) right now.
――What kind of existence is Dearing Tact again?
Matsuyama is a very special existence.
–Many fans expect a triple crown. Compared to the two spring races?
Matsuyama, I think it will arrive without a problem.
–Last word.
Matsuyama is drawing a lot of attention because she is an undefeated triple crown female if she wins. I want to get results somehow. Provide some support.
