The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA. The USA has announced the function of entering digital file data of the works in its collection in “Atsume Animal Crossing (Atsumori)” as my design. The number of works available exceeds 406,000.
The “Atsumori” art scene can be said to be the hottest in the series’ history. Not to mention the addition of “Tsunekichi” and “Museum” that were added in the April 23 update. It’s also new to me that the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles has created a system that allows me to digitally design digital archives for museums around the world (related article). It was the Metropolitan Museum of Art that entered the race even further. Just this year, this historical museum marks the 150th anniversary of its founding in 1870. Works that everyone knows, such as Van Gogh and Monet, are now available on the island.
The procedure for downloading Metropolitan works is very simple. Browse the museum collection in your browser and access your favorite work page. There should be a share button below the artwork image (icon with three connected white circles). If you click here, in addition to sharing buttons for social networks like Twitter and Facebook, the familiar brands of “Animal Crossing” are displayed.
If you click on the “Atsumori” icon, you will instantly see a painting with pixel art and a QR code. In the “Crop Your Artwork” column shown above, you can move or enlarge or shrink the position you want to cut as a design, so try cutting out your favorite part. After that, if you read the QR code from the smartphone with the Nintendo Switch Online app, you can incorporate the design in cooperation with the game.
You can bring in the work of Vermeer or Rembrandt and get drunk with light and shadow, or read Monet and Van Gogh and enjoy subtle colors. Even if you are not necessarily familiar with art, you should be able to find the masterpieces you saw in textbooks.
