From here on Arbon will be chasing forward Daniel Ricardo (Renault) and Reims Stroll (race point). At this point, there were 13 laps to go and it was a sprint to the checkered flag.
With this interruption, all cars were replaced by soft tires. Arbon will restart from 4th and Kubiat will restart from 7th. Eight laps from the end, Arbon overtook Ricardo on the outside and climbed to third place. After that, the checkered flag was greeted while pressing Bartelli Bottas (Mercedes) ahead.
