Honda Giken Kogyo announced on September 7 that Pierre Guthrie of Scuderia Alpha Tauri Honda won his first F1 victory in F1 (FIA Formula One World Championship) in the 2020 season. Takahiro’s comment was announced.
Guthrie achieved his first F1 victory with a machine equipped with Honda’s “RA620H” power unit in the final of the eighth round of the Italian Grand Prix on 6 September. This victory is Honda’s second victory of the season and 77th Grand Prix victory overall.

Congratulations to Pierre Guthrie on his first victory. !! Congratulations!! It was a great game that really thrilled with a dramatic development.
Guthrie never gave up and continued to take up the challenge, seizing the opportunity in this race too, after finishing second last year at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The defiant spirit is similar to Honda’s corporate stance, but this feat has encouraged us greatly.
He started walking with Honda from the days of his predecessor, the Scuderia Trolosso, and won the 50th race of this tournament. On behalf of Honda, I would like to express my gratitude to Franz Tost, the Scuderia Alpha Tauri team members, the people involved and the fans who have always supported me, and I would like to share my joy.
