Aung San Suu Kyi, a 75-year-old state councilor who has been promoting democratization, is under house arrest.
The Myanmar Armed Forces are believed to have attempted to seize power after being defeated by Shu Qi’s National League for Democracy (NLD) in the general elections last November.
Western democracies have vigorously protested the military coup, saying that the Biden administration in the United States is considering sanctions. However, China, which is deepening its ties with Myanmar, remains cautious and avoids criticism. I am concerned about the China movement. The international community must not take its eyes off the Chinese government from Xi Jinping (curiosities of the sea).
A series of large-scale protests against the armed forces
In Myanmar, large-scale protests against the armed forces are taking place one after another. On the 8th, the National Governance Council, a decision-making body established by the Myanmar Armed Forces, issued a curfew for the largest city, Yangon, and the second city, Mandalay. It is forbidden to go out from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. and gather more than 5 people in public.

Watching a video of a protest demonstration involving many citizens on the television news reminds me of a demonstration by Hong Kong citizens who clashed with the Hong Kong and Chinese governments in search of democracy and freedom.
