Round 13 of the F1 2020 F1 Emilia Romagna GP World Championship has ended. After finishing the race with a double, Mercedes F1 confirmed the 2020 Constructors’ Championship and achieved an unprecedented seven consecutive titles.
At the F1 Emilia Romagna GP, where the title was confirmed if either of them finished fourth, Luis Hamilton won the Mercedes and Bartelli Bottas finished second in one-two. He accomplished the feat of winning the Constructors’ title for the seventh time in a row.
Mercedes set a new record of seven consecutive victories, beating Ferrari’s record of six consecutive victories between 1999 and 2004. In terms of the number of constructors’ titles won, Mercedes will rise to fourth place in history alongside Lotus in terms of the number of titles won. Ferrari is the most successful team in F1 with 16 titles, 9 Williams and 8 McLaren.
In the Manufacturers’ Ranking, Renault, who took the podium for the second time this season thanks to Daniel Ricardo, has gone from 5th to 3rd place. Furthermore, McLaren, who won the double prize, finished fourth, despite being tied for race points. There was almost no movement in the pilot ranking.
