We are currently in the process of verifying the terminal. Basically I think the same as Ymobile can be used. Verification of some terminals takes time, but we plan to announce compatible terminals in early March.
Nothing has been decided at this time, such as the sale of terminals. Most of MVNO’s LINE Mobile contracts are “SIM only”. I am currently trying and error in which terminal to prepare for the “LINE MO” only online. Furthermore, the sales method is difficult considering that online reception, such as installment sales, will be complicated.

The “LINEMO” online contract system incorporates a considerable amount of Ymobile’s know-how. Ymobile may seem like a brick-and-mortar-centric brand, but online contracts are doubling every year.
As one of the efforts, we are trying to measure stress by having a user who has a brain wave measuring device touch the app screen. For example, if the address input field is a “double-byte specification” form, the measurement screen will turn red due to voltage.
I don’t know if the efforts we’re putting in place will be effective, but I think it’s only a matter of time before e-commerce spreads through various efforts.
Migration of Softbank and other companies
――Are there migration plans from LINE Mobile, Softbank, Ymobile or other companies?

I think 2480 yen (excluding tax) for 20GB is an attractive price, and I think there are a lot of migrations of large capacity plans (from Softbank and other companies).

We are considering the benefits of the transition.
Currently, LINE Mobile users will continue to provide services in an environment where they can continue to use the service even after the launch of “LINE MO” in March. I feel like I have to appreciate the users who have supported me so far and will of course guide the transition to LINEMO, but I will provide something that will satisfy me without degrading the quality (of communication).
