In the last few hours, a fraudulent sms has resumed circulation, already reported in the past, inviting you to unlock your current account by clicking on a link and entering your login credentials. In the last hours it has also reached one of our readers in Bergamo, who did not fall into the trap and informed us. Few fall into the trap, but older people or people who are not very familiar with technology could be fooled. Here is the text of the message, among other things written in Italian “limping”: «Dear customer, access to your account has been restricted. Unblock your account in the next … », follow a link and the name of the bank, a false signature that changes from time to time with the names of the main Italian credit institutions. If you open the indicated link, you will be directed to a screen where you are asked to enter your access data: obviously you should not open the link or enter your data, which would otherwise end up in the hands of the bad guys. Banks never ask for personal data via text message or email, and in the past they have repeatedly renewed the invitation to ignore such messages.
