Worsening weather conditions in Tuscany between today and tomorrow, day of Christmas. To the critical issues already planned for today due to winds and storms are added those related to the risk of snowfall in the Apennines.
Therefore, the Operations Room of the Regional Civil Protection has issued a new yellow code valid from today afternoon until midnight tomorrow December 25th (until 5 pm only for storms).
In detail, the expected phenomena:
WIND: strong Libeccio wind on the ridges of the Apennines and the Archipelago, on the north-central coast and adjacent areas, with gusts of up to 80-100 km / h.
BIG: very rugged or rugged north of Capraia.
NAME: starting tomorrow afternoon, Friday, snowfall in the Apennines initially above 800-1000 meters, gradually decreasing in altitude to 400-500 meters at night, in particular in Upper Mugello.
