Increase in disability pensions now it is reality, but only theoretically.
To date, in fact, the total number of civilian invalids to whom the increase would be entitled by law I have not received yet to calm’increase to one million thanks to which the amount of the check would amount to € 651.51 per month.
We have said the reason on more than one occasion, but for those who have lost part of this complicated history, it is good to reiterate it: for the increase in disability pensions to become operational, the INPS Circular.

Even if the increase in disability pensions, as established by sentence number 152/2020 in order to safeguard the stability of public finances, it is not retroactive, this is already in force and consequently, once it becomes operational, the increases not recognized in these months must also be paid.
Since disability pensions have increased
To understand when the arrears of the increase in disability pensions will be paid, one must understand since when 100% increase for all disabled civilians, regardless of age, but based on certain income-related requirements. has really come into force.

As the rule is not retroactivehowever, there will be no arrears, even if they have not been recognized in recent years, when the amount of the disability pension was insufficient to guarantee the vital minimum.
Disability pensions: how much they have increased
Thanks to’extension of increase to one million, assistance treatments for totally disabled civilians, deaf-mutes and totally blind civilians will enjoy a increase up to € 651.51 (for the thirteen months in which it is paid).
Basically, the increases will be the following:
- total civil invalids, from 18 to 59 years old, an increase of € 364.70: from the current € 286.81 it will go to € 651.51;
- deaf and dumb, from 18 to 59 years old, an increase of € 364.70: from the current € 286.81 it will go to € 651.51;
- absolute blind, with ages between 18 and 59 years, an increase of € 341.34 if not hospitalized, since it will go from the current € 310.17 to the aforementioned € 651.51. For hospitalized patients, however, the increase is always € 364.70 (given that the current amount is € 286.81).
We remind you, before concluding, that the increase is not recognized to all owners but only to those who respect an annual income:
- personal: not higher than 8,469.63
- marital: not more than 14,447.42
