Tonello Scanu, the firefighter who died in a work accident this morning outside Nulvi, was born in Sassari on September 24, 1966.
After military service – read a note released by the Corps – and a discontinuous period as a police officer, in November 2004 he joined the Fire Brigade. At that moment, the dream that arose from one of the great passions that he had cultivated since he was a child comes true: to join the great family of firefighters.
After the course at the Central Fire Prevention Schools in Rome Capannelle, your first assignment is the Milan Command of the Cook Detachment. During that period, in addition to serving for the National Fire Brigade, he met his current partner, with whom he moved, after 8 years, under the command of Sassari.
