“The blessing of homosexual unions cannot be considered lawful.” This was established by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, responding to a question with a “responsum”, approved by Pope Francis.
They bless the mobsters, Easter eggs and wooden crosses. But gay couples are not.
They bless the dead and the living, the golden bracelets of Communion, the scureggioni children at mass and the murderers. But gay couples are not.
They forgive pedophiles, thieves and those who bought the attic with the money from the Bambino Gesù hospital. But a couple of two of the same sex who love each other, according to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, is a sin that excludes blessing.
They bless the confetti, the wedding cake and the photos of distant relatives. But gay couples are not.
They bless pacts, contracts and rents, but not affections.
They bless dogs, cats and hamsters (in the true sense of the word), but not those who love themselves if they have the same sex between the legs.
They bless a harvest, grapes and fertilized land, but a gay couple does not.
So, of course, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith will say that they bless the people and not the mafia, the land as a symbol of fertility, the harvest as a wish, the dogs as a symbol of affection for their masters, and that their eggs Easter bless the concept and not the chocolate.
But in the end, press hard, I have in mind the (beautiful) photo of Pope Francis stroking a dog after a “special blessing”, and on the other hand the phrase of the Congregation on homosexual couples: “A choice and a practice of life that cannot be recognized objectively ordered to the revealed plans of God ”.
Then I imagine it, this God who had become Man, in Heaven, to witness this destruction of love and to test the clouds: “I will judge you by multiplied or subtracted love, not by sex between the legs, gender or enjoyment . I multiplied quality wine, I had prostitutes as friends, and you dare to use my name to deny a divine caress to two men or two women? I wait for you at the door and then we talk, peasants and prelates ”.
