Will florists be able to stay open tomorrow in Veneto? No. And the hairdressers? Yes. And will the children in school really no longer be able to attend physical education? It depends on Rome.
Like last spring, when each ordinance was followed by questions, clarifications, requests for clarification, this latest provision of the Governor of Veneto Luca Zaia that comes into force today has raised doubts. The same ordinance was to apply to Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia-Romagna, but the degradation of these two Regions to orange zones has undermined the provisions agreed by the three governors, also with the endorsement of the Minister of Health: what is the point of prohibiting taking standing cafes if in Friuli and Emilia the bars will be closed anyway? Luca Zaia live today at 12.30 pm, Thursday, November 12, 2020. The governor presented the new ordinance for Veneto that contains measures to counter the coronavirus pandemic. With this ordinance, Zaia wanted to emphasize, our territory becomes one more yellow strip.
PUBLIC EXERCISES
Restaurants, bars, pastry shops, take-out pizzerias and other catering establishments will be open on Sundays, November 15 and 22, but only outside the shopping centers; in shopping centers they are closed. Therefore, tomorrow you can go to lunch at a restaurant, even by the sea or in the mountains, but before and after lunch you should avoid walking through the historic center, which causes crowds and crowds. Ice cream parlors can serve ice cream for walks, but, as in the first phase of closings, people should not gather in front of the store and leave the place. Again: are the bars closed until 3:00 p.m.? No, they open even earlier, but from 3:00 p.m. you can only sit at the bar. The closing time remains fixed at 18:00 and the curfew at 22:00.
THE WALKS
Physical activity and walks only in parks and green areas, not in crowded places. But guests of a hotel located in the historic center can engage in physical activity or walks because they are equated with residents. Guided hiking tours are allowed, as long as you don’t go to crowded places. You can go hiking in the mountains, but not where there are crowds.

HAIRDRESSER
Personal services (hairdresser, beautician, etc.) are open on Sundays as they are not shops, but service activities. And, therefore, those inside shopping centers are also open today. The same happens with the laundries, the automatic ones can also remain open. “An important clarification for the wellness operators,” said Cna Veneto Secretary Matteo Ribon. The same goes for bike rental: open on Sundays.
GYM
Is physical education prohibited in schools? The correct answer is: not for now. Ordinance n. 151 prohibits the performance of physical education and other didactic activities only after the issuance of an opinion from the National Scientific Technical Committee indicating that these activities are dangerous for the spread of covid-19; At the moment the opinion has not yet been issued and, therefore, in Veneto, gymnastics is done at school. Yesterday the Region specified that singing classes are not prohibited in private schools (Annex 9 of the Decree of the Prime Minister of November 3).
Shops
Can car dealerships stay open today? It depends: yes if they are neighborhood businesses, not if they are medium or large sales structures. Tomorrow, however, all the stores closed.
FLORISTS
You cannot sell flowers and plants on Sundays because they are a commercial activity. The gardens are also closed. On the other hand, according to the Decree of the Prime Minister of November 3, the sale of agricultural products is allowed as a link in the agricultural production chain. Cat and dog product stores are closed on Sundays.
GASOLINE
Will the gas stations be open tomorrow Sunday? Yes, but only the automatic ones, even with the possible bar attached. (al.va.)
