SITUATION. The high pressure field that will tend to settle in south-central Europe and Italy in the first part of the new week it won’t last long and will soon be undermined by the disturbed Atlantic flow, particularly active on the European chessboard in this early fall phase. In fact, after a few days of stability we will see a new deterioration in our regions already on Thursday, due to the entry of a first disturbance from the Northwest that will begin to dismantle the newborn anticyclone. On Friday it will arrive in Triveneto and central Italy, but it will follow other more intense disturbances that will flow until the end of the week. Let’s see the details:
TIME ITALY THURSDAY. The new disturbance approaches, giving rise to the following, eventually in worsening in the Northwest where the first rains will arrive. The other regions with a more stable climate and slightly or partially cloudy skies will remain under the protection of high pressure, except for some disturbances between Sicily and the regions of the lower-middle Tyrrhenian. Temperature increasing, except for the Northwest.
WEEKEND TREND. The first disturbance should hit Northeast and Central Italy on Friday, especially along the Tyrrhenian side, with some rain or showers, while the South will remain protected from high pressures with a more stable climate. Short distance a second and more organized Atlantic disturbance will come, due to the deepening of a low pressure vortex over west-central Europe. The weather will get worse again around next weekend starting from the northwest in bad weather, even intense, spreading rapidly towards the northeast, the center of Tyrrhenian and Sardinia. During the weekend, the high pressure also seems ready to give in to the South, Consequently, it would deteriorate over time, the scope of which is still being assessed. On the other hand, a temporary improvement in the Center-North is not excluded, due to the removal of the front towards the South.
