Based on the available forecasts, the Civil Protection Directorate, in agreement with the regions involved, issued a new Adverse Weather Conditions Warning. The notice foresees from early morning on Thursday, September 24, rains with a predominant character of downpour or storm, first in Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, then in extension from the afternoon to Lombardy and Veneto. Heavy rains, frequent electrical activity, local hailstorms and strong gusts of wind are expected.

Assessed for tomorrow, based on anticipated and ongoing events, orange alert in much of Emilia-Romagna. Yellow alert also in several regions of the Center-North, or in large sectors of Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy and Veneto and in Molise, Umbria, western Tuscany and in some sectors of Emilia-Romagna.
