The Regional Civil Protection has issued an orange meteorological alert valid from 6 am on Friday, September 25, until 6 am on Saturday, September 26.
The following phenomena are foreseen in the bulletin issued by the Regional Civil Protection: generalized rains, also of an inverse and stormy nature, locally of strong intensity. Winds from the west tend to be strong during the day with gusts in thunderstorms. The sea tends to get rough, with possible storm surges along the exposed shores.
Based on this information, the Crisis Unit of the municipality of Naples he immediately met – with the Director General, the Chief of Staff, the Councilors and the competent Administrators – to examine the situation and propose the measures to be adopted to the Mayor of Magistris.
At the end of the operational meeting the Mayor by Magistris signed an ordinance for the closure of public and private schools of all levels, including nursery schools; Obviously this closure affects the school complexes not affected by the electoral consultations that are currently closed until Monday, September 28. A similar closure was also organized for Friday September 25 for all parks and cemeteries in the city and for outdoor sports facilities. The events scheduled for tomorrow outdoors are also suspended.
