It rises to just under 30 percent. 29.75%, to be precise – the percentage of voters who, at 7pm Sunday, voted for the referendum Constitution on the reform that provides for the reduction of the number of parliamentarians. This was announced by the Ministry of the Interior, specifying that the data refers to about 7,900 municipalities out of 7,903.
In addition to the referendum, Italian citizens are summoned to the polls for regional (in Valle d’Aosta, Veneto, Liguria, Tuscany, Marche, Campania and Puglia), municipal (more than a thousand municipalities to vote: here they are) and supplementary (in Veneto and Sardinia).

In some Regions, also voting for administrative ones, participation higher than the national average: the case of Market, where at 7:00 p.m. 36.65% of the holders voted; of the Aosta Valley, 44.35%; of the Liguria, 35.47%; of the Veneto, 39.27%; of the Tuscany, 38.17%; of the Puglia, at 30.69%.
On the contrary, in Campania participation was 29.36%, a figure slightly lower than the national average, despite the election of the governor in this region.
In Abruzzo 27.31% stake; in Basilicata 24.36%; in Calabria 22.45%; in Emilia romagna 32.99%; in Friuli Venezia Giulia 28.31%; in Lombardy of 30.90; in Piedmont of 30.69; in Sardinia 17.08%; in Molise 24.2%; in Trentino Alto Adige 40.5%; in Lazio 25.79%; in Sicily from 16.96 – the lowest figure in Italy -; in Umbria 25.16%.
Participation at 19 for Regionals
These are, instead, the influxes for the regional elections: Campania 26.52%; Liguria 32.07%; Puglia 27.6%; Veneto 35.55%. In all cases, the participation rate in the Regionals is lower than that relative to the referendum.
Voting will continue today, Sunday, September 20, until 11:00 p.m., and will resume tomorrow, Monday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
