Hello and welcome to LIVE LIVE of the second round of Levi’s women’s slalom, valid test for the World Cup 2020-2021 alpine skiing. An exciting battle for the victory of this Nordic race will be fought on the Finnish track, after yesterday the Slovak Petra Vlhova won ahead of the American Mikaela Shiffrin. Just like twenty four hours ago Petra Vlhova is still ahead of everyone at the end of the first heat, but not alone in command of the provisional classification: the Swiss Michelle Gisin has invented an amazing race and closed at the same time as the big favorite of the day before.
The odd couple at the top has 23 cents ahead of Swiss Wendy Holdener and 37 over Mikaela Shiffrin: Four girls fighting for success between the narrow posts, it sure will be fun. A little more distant, but far from being out of the game for an outstanding result, are the Canadian Laurence St-Germain (fifth with 0.55), the Austrian Katharina Liensberger (yesterday third on arrival, today sixth with 0.57) , Norway’s Mina Fuerst Holtmann (seventh with 0.60) and Czech Martina Dubovska (eighth with 0.66).
