Another 70 cases of coronavirus in Sardinia, bringing the total number of infections registered since the beginning of the epidemic to 2,092. Of the new cases, 50 have been identified in northern Sardinia, 16 in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 3 in southern Sardinia and one in the province of Oristano.
The number of victims remains unchanged, being 134.
There are 24 patients admitted to the hospital, one more than yesterday. The number of patients in intensive care remains unchanged, always two, both in Sassari. There are 665 people in home isolation, for a total of 691 currently positive.
The recovered patients are 1,267, 1,263 with double negative swabs and four recovered clinically.
The swabs performed are 133,400, 1,796 more in the last 24 hours. Of the 70 new confirmed cases, 65 were identified through screening activities, 5 due to suspected diagnosis.
In the territory, of the 2,092 positive cases verified in total, 378 (+16) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 215 (+3) in the south of Sardinia, 65 (+1) in Oristano, 122 in Nuoro, 1,312 (+50) in Sassari.
