Sardinia, at least for the moment, “breathes” against the Coronavirus. The island is in the least “serious” range, as Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced: there are no nightmare “red zones” or “territorial blockades”. All thanks to the low Rt index: the curfew is still from 22:00 to 05:00, so it is a must. So, a strong recommendation to avoid unimportant trips for the rest of the day. Confirmed the “squeeze” for bars and restaurants: empty tables from 6 in the afternoon, to take until 10 at night and without limits for the sale of homes. Shopping centers closed weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, only open pharmacies, parapharmacies, health centers, food points, tobacconists and kiosks. Total stop in swimming pools, gyms, theaters, cinemas. The sports centers remain open. In public transport, the seats are occupied, at most, by 50 percent, but there is an exception and it refers to means intended for students. And speaking of school, distance education will be compulsory only in secondary school.
The measurements will be valid from November 6 to December 3. There will be an update of the Rt index every week. The island is currently at 1.12.
