Another 57 cases of coronavirus positivity were recorded in Sardinia in the Crisis Unit bulletin of September 25. Of these, 42 were detected through screening activities, 15 due to suspected diagnosis. Most of the cases are found in the north of Sardinia (33), then 11 in the province of Nuoro, 3 in Oristano, 2 in the south of Sardinia and 8 in the metropolitan city of Cagliari.
The tests carried out are 1,956, for a total of 180,110 swabs since the beginning of the emergency.
The number of victims remains unchanged at 148, while 1,589 people have recovered (35 more in the last 24 hours), plus seven clinically recovered.
There are 112 hospitalized patients with symptoms, unchanged from yesterday’s figure, while there is one more patient in intensive care, bringing the number of seriously ill patients to 19.
In the territory, of the 3,528 positive cases verified in total, 565 (+8) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 347 (+2) in the south of Sardinia, 267 (+3) in Oristano, 402 (+11 ) in Nuoro, 1947 (+33) in Sassari.
The Rt contagion rate on the Island, according to the latest monitoring data from the ISS – Ministry of Health, is 0.77, down from 0.88 a week ago.
In Italy it is 0.95, there are eleven Regions or Autonomous Provinces that exceed the threshold: Abruzzo 1.1, Calabria 1.13, Campania 1.1, Friuli, 1.11, Molise 1.04, province of Bolzano 1.28 , province of Trento 1.24, Puglia 1.06, Sicily 1.2, Umbria 1.06 and Veneto 1.01.
