And if the ceremony of the catwalk was missing, Mayor Raggi, however, did not lack the words to celebrate the tree that cost the administration 140,000 euros.

Spelacchio, but not alone. The traditional Christmas lights were installed in via del Corso and via Vittorio Veneto, by Acea. This year a 1,500-meter-long “starry sky” was installed in which famous verses, phrases and quotes appear. Piazza del Popolo, from December 19, will be the protagonist of an artistic lighting project called “Custodes” in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce. On the Porta del Popolo, which for centuries was the main access to the city, wonderful and evocative images of guardian angels and “protectors” of the city will be projected.
