The two fatal accidents less than two hours apart at midnight
PAVIA. Two road victims in the province of Pavia, in two accidents that occurred between the afternoon of Saturday August 29 and the night between Saturday 29 and Sunday 30.
Shortly after 10 pm on Saturday in Villanterio, a 15-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle, was hit by a car for reasons yet to be clarified and left the scene of the accident. All 118 operators intervened on the spot, but unfortunately there was nothing to be done for the 15-year-old, who died on the spot. The intervention of the firefighters and the carabinieri was also immediate, who began the investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the investment.
The investor appeared on Sunday morning at the Villanterio carabinieri headquarters. The first signs of the tragic accident that cost the 15-year-old her life came from two local boys who helped with the investment and asked for help. The police from the Pavía company conducted the surveys and managed to identify the driver of the truck, a 51-year-old man from Gerenzago, who, however, was nowhere to be found. Until Sunday morning, in fact, when he appeared at the barracks and confirmed that it was he who struck and killed the fifteen-year-old. They reported him for murder on the road and took him to the hospital to see if he had been drinking or using drugs at the time of the accident. The truck was seized.
After midnight in Valeggio, in Lomellina, a car ran off the road and ended up in a canal. Also in this case, the 118 doctors, who arrived at the scene, could not avoid noting the death of the driver. The traffic police are investigating this incident.
