Very windy and scary night in the Oristano area: a closed road

The strong wind blew during the night in the province of Oristano, creating numerous danger sites: trees or large fallen branches, unsafe poles, network cables. The most serious situation in Montiferru: a large tree fell on the road of provincial highway 19 that connects Cuglieri with San Leonardo, obstructing it. Firefighters from the Cuglieri detachment and the police intervened at the scene and the road had to be closed. In addition to the large fallen tree, in fact, others were in danger of falling. An inspection is scheduled this morning with the technicians of the Province.
Dangerous situations also in Oristano, Torre Grande, Solanas, Arborea and Mogoro. A large fallen tree was reported in Viale San Martino in Oristano. Problems also in via Busachi.
Firefighters worked through the night with guard crews to deal with the numerous reports.
