The Giallorossi have made a mistake, not by inserting the Guinean midfielder in the list of 25, but in the list of young people, despite having turned 23 on July 17. There is a precedent that makes jurisprudence: Sassuolo-Pescara in 2016. Even then an error in the compilation of the lists cost the neroverdi a knockout. In fantasy football, however, votes, bonuses and penalties given by the field were approved. The same for Verona-Rome. This is not a suspended or postponed game, but a game that is played regularly, complete with the posting of report cards and bonuses / penalties already counted in the day’s calculation. The regulation, in this sense, has no specifications in this regard. The result of the table has repercussions on the classification of Serie A, but it has little to do with fantasy football. Also because the 3-0 is not final yet: what would happen if Roma’s appeal was accepted? Carrying out the matter through bureaucratic oversight is neither convenient nor correct, from our point of view.
