Veneto, new Zaia ordinance: what changes

New ‘anti-harvest’ ordinance in Veneto starting at midnight on Friday, December 11. This was announced today by the president of the Region Luca Zaia during the press point. Zaia said that “it is a duty, it takes up the principles of the one that expires, which is the use of the mask and the prohibition of meetings, and it will expire on the same expiration date as the Dpcm government.” Among the other measures envisaged by the new Veneto ordinance is that of a single customer up to 40 square meters in stores and one customer every 20 square meters in larger stores. Finally, in public markets, where possible, the perimeter of the counters with entry and exit should be foreseen. “I decided to put this new ordinance considering also what happened on the bridge on December 8 with images of crowds, even on the mountain, despite bad weather and the risk of avalanches,” explained the governor.

Zaia then reported that “in the curves on the trend of the virus we have a timid decline, the good news is that the RT of Veneto is going down“We,” he added, “managed to accompany this phase without extreme restrictions, without the closure of municipal boundaries and activities as happened in the orange and red zones.”

And anyway, on the positive trend in Veneto greater than in other regions, he explained: “We have grown more slowly than in other regions.
