The government continues to consider the most difficult scenario, that of national blockadeAs the consultant from the Ministry of Health Speranza Walter Ricciardi recalled: “Generalized confinement is not avoided, because the effects of the measures taken must be evaluated. In many Regions the situation is getting worse and in others it is stable, the worsening must be stopped or reverse the curve and lower it. Only when we are sure that this happens can we draw conclusions, we are all trying to avoid the national blockade, “he said this morning on Sky TG24.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza would consent to the meeting of the heads of delegation in ordinances of the Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia Romagna regions. In fact, governors are working on initiatives to enact more restrictive measures than currently envisaged, and their ordinances would be expected shortly, probably as soon as today. The meeting, which they attended Chairman of the Board Giuseppe Conte, the heads of the delegations of the majority forces and the Minister of Economy Roberto Gualtieri, has been temporarily suspended and will be resumed later. According to AdnKronos, there was also a quick report on the situation in Calabria.

As announced, these three regions, along with Campania, could be the next to change color, as soon as the new ISS weekly monitoring arrives, with data updated by the Regions. The criticalities had been identified by the last weekly monitoring of the control room of the Ministry of Health and the ISS, processed based on 21 parameters. For this reason the president of the ISS at the press conference Silvio Brusaferro, had spoken of “four regions that go towards a high risk, and in which it is convenient to anticipate more restrictive measures”.

As for Veneto, the president of the Northern League, Luca Zaia, had anticipated the new squeeze yesterday: “The ordinance will presumably come out tomorrow (ed. Today) and will talk about meetings and rules for those who have not yet gotten into the head”.

Currently, after theOrdinance of the Minister of Health Speranza that transferred Abruzzo, Basilicata, Liguria, Umbria and Tuscany to the orange zone, and has also added the Autonomous Province of Bolzano to the red zone, the classification of the Regions in the different areas is currently the following: in the ‘yellow zone’ Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Marche, Molise, Autonomous Province of Trento, Sardinia, Veneto; in the ‘orange zone’ Abruzzo, Basilicata, Liguria, Puglia, Sicily, Tuscany, Umbria; in the ‘red zone’ Calabria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
