V-Day: who will be the first in Brescia to get vaccinated?

Ottavio Di Stefano, president of the Medical Association, and Stefania pace, president of the nurses, will be among the first in Brescia to receive the dose of vaccine against Covid. With them, in the Civil Hospital of Brescia, there will be, among others, a representative of the social and health workers and one of the service personnel.

It will be on Sunday, December 27, as in the rest of Europe, the V-day in Lombardy: day on which the vaccination campaign with Pfizer-Biontech preparations is symbolically opened. Giulio Gallera, Councilor for Health, announced the departure of vaccines in the region.

The first doses will arrive in Milan at the Niguarda hospital on Sunday morning and It will be distributed in 14 emblematic places in the Region: the Spedali Civili in Brescia and then, among others, those of Alzano, Codogno, Pope John of Bergamo and Pio Albergo Trivulzio. Among the names chosen to act as testimonies are Doctors Massimo Galli, Fabrizio Pregliasco, Alberto Zangrillo and Antonio Pesenti.

Presumably the first inoculations will be done in the afternoon, after having arrived by car inside thermal boxes designed to keep the doses at the proper storage temperature.

The real campaign should start in early January, 65 offices identified throughout the region responsible for storing the vials and distributing the vaccines. Three weeks are planned to complete the first round of vaccinations: starting from the hubs, all the hospitals will follow and then the RSAs will follow, as well as the personnel of the emergency-urgency system and rescuers.
