US elections, another rejected call for Trump

The The Wisconsin Supreme Court has once again rejected an appeal by President Donald Trump aimed at reversing election results in the state by disallowing votes in the strongly democratic districts of Dane and Milwaukee counties. In a majority decision, the court affirmed that the Trump campaign did not prove that the more than 220,000 votes were cast illegally, as it claims when asking for their invalidation.

It is the third time in December that the Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled against a Trump appeal. And today’s ruling came just before the state’s top 10 voters gathered to ratify Joe Biden’s victory by a 20,000-vote margin.
