In the morning the preparatory maneuvers for the repair will begin and at approximately 6.30 am, the flow will be interrupted in the hydraulic node of Monte Leoni, in the Municipality of Campagnatico, for the completion of the repair whose deadline, in consideration of the complexity of operations, is expected 18 hours.
The necessary interruption of the water flow will determine the temporary suspension of the water supply to the tanks and the users connected to this pipeline in the municipalities of Castiglione della Pescaia, Gavorrano, Scarlino, Follonica, Massa Marittima and Monterotondo Marittimo.
In the municipality of Grosseto, the towns of Batignano, Braccagni, Montepescali, the Bonifica Grossetana distribution gas pipeline and surrounding areas will be affected by the interruption of the water flow, in addition to rural users directly connected to Dorsale Fiora.
Since the equalization capacity of tanks (and individual users’ autoclaves) varies according to their resource storage capacity and the water needs of the specific day, further interruptions and restoration of water flow can occur, once the intervention is finished. , it could present a lag with respect to the indicated times. In addition, there may be occasional phenomena of cloudiness of the water, which after the restoration of the service will gradually return with the passage of time.
It will be the responsibility of the AdF personnel to verify the situation of the tanks and activate an emergency service if the interruption of the flow to the users exceeds 24 hours, as required by the Assignment Agreement.
