After nearly six days of searching, the body of the 12 year old girl disappeared in Lake of como while bathing with his mother. Fatou, this is his name, he was recovered a 125 meters deep by a firefighter robot specialized in seabed investigation.
The accident happened for the last time August 27: mother and daughter could not swim, but they walked in the water to cool off from the heat, on the small beach of Abbadia Lariana, in the province of Lecco. But the bottom was deeper than they thought and the current carried them away. The father jumped into the water to help them: the mother managed to return to shore, the daughter has disappeared. Since then, searches have not stopped, even in bad weather. The body was far from the shore, about 200 meters. But the current had carried her immediately. The 12-year-old girl lived in Monza with her parents and was originally from the Gambia.
