In Tuscany there are 12,179 cases of coronavirus positivity, 99 more than yesterday (25 identified in the course of screening and 74 from detection activities). Today there are no new deaths that remain 1143 since the beginning of the epidemic. New cases are 0.8% more than the total of the previous day, with an average age of about 38 years (32% are under 26 years, 23% between 26 and 40, 38% between 41 and 65 years , 7% are over 65). Regarding the clinical states, 70% were asymptomatic, 21% pauci-symptomatic. Of the 99 positivities to date, 16 cases may be linked to returns from abroad, of which 3 for vacation reasons (Spain). 6 are linked to returns from other Italian regions (5 Sardinia, 1 Sicily) and 5 cases are remittable to citizens residing outside the region, identified thanks to the controls activated in ports and stations. 34% of the cases is a contact linked to a previous case.
Those cured grew 0.1% and reached 9,219 (75.7% of all cases). The swabs performed reached 567,766, 7,730 more than yesterday. The current positives are 1,817 (+ 5%). At the territorial level, there are 22 new cases in Florence, 11 in Prato, 2 in Pistoia, 10 in Massa, 8 in Lucca, 12 in Pisa, 9 in Livorno, 8 in Arezzo, 2 in Siena and 10 in Grosseto. There are 525 positive cases reported in Tuscany but resident in other regions (+5). In total, 1,742 people are isolated at home, as they have mild or no symptoms (+81). There are 4,189 (+70) people, also isolated, under active surveillance for having had contact with those infected. Today there are 75 (+5) hospitalized in Covid beds, 8 in intensive care (+1). The people healed in total are 9,219 (+13).
