Tuscany coronavirus, 753 new positives and 28 deaths in the last 24 hours

In Tuscany there are 108,397 cases of positivity to the Coronavirus, 753 more than yesterday. New cases are 0.7% more than the total of the previous day. Those cured grew 2.8% and reached 76,331 (70.4% of all cases). The swabs made reached 1,645,472, 12,142 more than yesterday, of which 6.2% were positive.

Tuscany ranks ninth in Italy in terms of the number of cases (including residents and non-residents), with around 2,906 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (the Italian average is 2,833 per 100,000, yesterday’s figure).
The reporting provinces with the highest rate are Prato with 3,716 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, Pisa with 3,599, Massa Carrara with 3,497 and Siena with 1,645 the lowest.

Overall, 27,587 people are isolated at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care or do not have symptoms (1,323 less than yesterday, 4.6% less).
There are 31,947 (892 fewer than yesterday, less 2.7%) people, also isolated, in active surveillance because they have had contact with infected people (ASL Center 10,250, Northwest 15,606, Southeast 6,091).

The people hospitalized in beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 1,612 (22 less than yesterday, less 1.3%), 252 in intensive care (9 less than yesterday, less 3.4%).
