And there that Sunday night – December 20 – the man, who was 53 years old and after losing his job was a librarian in the village to earn a small living, came to the girl. A video call that was scheduled at the table, to punish the woman by beating her daughter. A revenge accompanied by a note left on the table, full of accusations against his ex-wife.
A neighbor raised the alarm of the man who, upon hearing the shot, called the carabinieri. The arrival of aid was useless: the 53-year-old man was already dead.
On the table the ticket, seized by the carabinieri, and the weapon that, unlike the usual ones carried out, the 6.35 caliber Beretta with which he took his own life was illegal. The investigation was led by the deputy prosecutor of Ivrea, Daniele Iavarone
