“Starting from the defense, Izzo and Ansaldi cannot play as full-backs. Armando is a three-man central defender, he doesn’t have the physical and technical characteristics to do something different. You can adapt it for once, but you cannot think that structurally it can play that role. A player does not change him, at almost thirty. The same goes for Ansaldi. Which is better in the offensive phase than in the defense. So better as a full-blown winger at 3-5-2 than a four-man winger. In midfield, Rincón is certainly not a playmaker – he doesn’t have the feet and playing times to be one despite knowing how to help the defense. I always have some doubts about Meité, who I think is slow in the legs and head. And who plays the offensive midfielder? We hope that Verdi and Berenguer will adapt ”.

In the offensive midfielder chapter?
“We hope that Verdi or Berenguer can adapt, but to think that one of them could be the ideal solution to play that top role of the midfield in a diamond arrangement of the midfield is sadly incorrect. If you want to improve in the near future, I would have a player there also behind the forwards, I don’t think Falque can do it because he has always given his best on the right wing, in the other roles he has lost.
