A slight sign of hope emerges from the weekly trend: in the last seven days 4,078 new cases have been registered in the province of Treviso, growth continues but at a slower pace than in the previous three weeks.
Emergency income
Yesterday even the Intensive Care Unit, stable for a few days, again received new patients: among them, according to the general director of the USL 2, also 45 years old, showing that no one, with such a sneaky virus, can feel safe (Again according to Benazzi, the conditions of the other young man in intensive care improve, the 37-year-old protagonist of the video in which he responds to the deniers). The pressure on hospitals is strong, especially for Treviso (84 cases in Ca ‘Foncello, plus another 14 in intensive care), Vittorio Veneto (91 patients in non-critical areas, 3 in intensive care) and Montebelluna (98, plus two in intensive care). “From tomorrow until November 20, we expect a new escalation pending the peak”, stresses CEO Benazzi, “we are controlling the wave of new hospitalizations by increasing the number of beds everywhere. The plan we have prepared will allow us to endure again this time. Our Usl is very close to level five provided by the Region, at which point the plan calls for the opening of new beds for Covid patients in Oderzo.
