Senigallia 12/10/2020 – Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte will announce the new DPCM with the new (and stricter) measures to contain the advance of the Coronavirus. In the meantime, however, the Scientific Technical Committee met with Health Minister Speranza on Sunday to present some news that will likely be incorporated into the new Prime Minister’s Decree.
In particular, the CTS, “on the basis of scientific evidence”, indicated that the quarantine period should be reduced from fourteen to ten days and that only one negative swab would be sufficient for positive isolation results and no longer two as now. In addition, asymptomatic patients who do not become negative, however, finish their quarantine after 21 days.
Meanwhile, on the cover of the new Prime Minister’s Decree, the early closure of the facility now is sure to prevent nightlife and the limitation of “activities” deemed non-essential. Especially for children and young people who “while they are in a protected environment at school are not so much in extracurricular relationships”. For this reason it is likely that parties are prohibited while assuming private gatherings in homes extended to a maximum of 10 people. Limitations for sports activities will also be introduced, while it is further specified that outdoor masks should always be worn, even when walking, while they should not be worn while running.
