Another wave of bad weather in Verona and its province.
After yesterday’s brief storm that caused damage and annoyance especially in the Parona district, today another hailstorm hit the province of Verona.
A whirlwind struck Montecchia Crosara, causing substantial damage to the sports hall, where some plants also collapsed.
In the town of Val d’Alpone there are also serious consequences for some homes and industrial buildings, the damage to crops in a territory with a strong viticultural vocation (Soave Doc production area) has not yet been quantified.
Similar problems also in Illasi and Colognola ai Colli, municipalities of the district.
Strong hailstorm in Peschiera del Garda and Valeggio sul Mincio.
A tornado also affected Palù, Buttapietra and Trevenzuolo, in the village of Roncolevà.
