Even the Region Tuscany, today in orange, you should have data capable of guaranteeing your passage in the yellow zone: but for the actual passage you will have to wait at least one more week.

One word of caution: the rules on travel for holidays – December 25, December 26, January 1 – are subject to negotiations and discussions during these hours. Below we will report the rules as they are, at the moment: but those related to those days should change, as we wrote here.
What can you do when you return to the yellow zone?
Citizens of a region returning to the yellow zone, from the orange zone, can:
– move freely within their own Municipality and between different Municipalities, except between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., when the curfew is in force. To move at night, specific reasons are required (those allowed are work, health or necessity and urgency) and therefore it is necessary to complete the self-certification form (found here);
– move freely outside the Region and go to another Region in the yellow zone (except, as in the previous case, between 10 pm and 5 am). To move to a region in the orange or red zone, you need specific reasons (work, health, need and urgency) and the self-certification form;
– go to the bar until 6 pm;
– go to the restaurant, until 6:00 p.m.: after that time, home delivery is allowed, and until 10:00 p.m. it is possible to bring food to go (which cannot be consumed near the restaurant);
– go to a shopping center from Monday to Friday: not on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays;
– Go to friends and family: the Dpcm does not foresee a specific prohibition, but the recommendation is to continue without visiting people who do not live together.

What has changed since December 21?
The travel rules will change as of December 21, according to the new Decree of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (here the final text in PDF). As?
From December 21, 2020 to January 6, 2021, any movement in and out between the territories of different regions or autonomous provinces is prohibited throughout Italy, regardless of the area in which your region is located (therefore , also for the yellow area) (Trento and Bolzano).
During the same period, it is also forbidden to move to second homes located in another Autonomous Community or Province.
On December 25 and 26, 2020 and January 1, 2021, any movement between municipalities is currently prohibited – even in the yellow zone: the only exceptions provided are those related to work needs, health reasons or situations of need (including this includes assistance to a non-self-sufficient relative, visitation of minor children if they are separated or divorced, and the reunification of couples to stay in the house where they usually live, as indicated in the government’s FAQ). During the same period, it is also prohibited to move to second homes located outside the municipality. return to one’s own residence, domicile or home is always allowed (for second residences, the rules just described apply). Regarding the movements between municipalities on December 25 and 26 and January 1, as we said here, an afterthought is taking place: and the government must allow them. At the moment, the standard has not yet been approved.
