Even today’s health bulletin confirms the decisive slowdown in the spread of Covid in our province: the new infected are 50 (of which only 13 are symptomatic). Since the beginning of the pandemic, 13,395 Piacentini have tested positive.
Unfortunately, the number of deaths from Coronavirus remains high: today there are 7 (three women of 75, 89 and 94 years old and four men of 58, 59, 68 and 96 years old). The total amounts to 1,134.

Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 138,348 positive cases have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 1,079 more than yesterday, out of a total of 10,483 swabs made in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs performed is 10.3%.
The average age of new positives today is 45.1 years.
Of 677 asymptomatic patients, 382 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 64 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 4 with serological tests, 14 through prehospital tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 213 cases.
The total number of people cured is 1,711 more than yesterday and reaches 66,191.
Active cases, that is, actual patients, are currently 65,843 (-678 compared to yesterday). After about a month, the total number of people cured is again greater than that of active cases, real patients.
Unfortunately, there are 46 new deaths: in addition to seven in Piacenza, 4 in Parma, 6 in the province of Reggio Emilia, 10 in the area of Modena, 2 in Bologna, 6 in the province of Ravenna, one in the province of Forlì- Cesena and 10 in the Rimini area. .
In total, 6,314 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
There are 233 patients admitted to intensive care (one less than yesterday), 2,857 those from the rest of Covid departments (+76).
