But he is not a ray of war on decisions and that value must be given to him by someone else.

Who today is the head of the delegation to the government, Dario Franceschini, would inevitably lose his role and political weight if another exponent of the Pd were to replace Conte (unless it was himself). Last night, although late, Franceschini sacrificed himself to deflect Conte’s suspicion of the conflict of interest due to that provision of the relaunch decree that saved the father of the premier’s girlfriend from a criminal conviction.
