Filippo ganna dominate the final stopwatch of the Tirreno – Adriatico 2020. The Italian champion of the discipline covered the 10.05 km of San Benedetto del Tronto with a record time of 10’42 ”, clearly surpassing the previous record of Fabián Cancellara. But it is in the second phase that the 24-year-old Piedmontese clearly made the difference, closing with 18 ″ of advantage over Victor Campenaerts (Cycling NTT Pro). Third day, after a mistake that took a few seconds, Rohan dennis (Ineos Granaderos) 26 ″ behind his teammate.
In the final the challenge becomes for the general classification, but there are no major revolts, with Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) who quite easily manages to defend his Azzurra Maglia to conquer this edition of the Corsa dei Due Mari, the first Briton in history after his twin’s joke last year.
