Viterbo – Coronavirus, three other cases confirmed today in Viterbo. To report is the ASL, while 5 people have recovered. In total, the negativized amounted to 457.

“The Belcolle Molecular Genetics section reported three confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity – notify local health authorities – to the Coronavirus operational team of the Local Health Authority of Viterbo at 11 am.

The latest positive reports are related to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 2 in Viterbo, 1 in Monte Romano.

All the cases today have an epidemiological link to known cases and all are convalescing in their own home.

The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures in order to contain the spread of the virus, reinforcing the chain of close contacts, with the precious collaboration of the municipal administrations ”.

In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 541 of which 34 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.

“Today the recovery of the Covid-19 of 5 patients was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects, having received the report of negativity regarding two swabs performed consecutively a few days later.”

The negative persons reside in the following municipalities: 3 in Viterbo, 1 in Civita Castellana, 1 Nepi.

“Right now, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: one is hospitalized in the infectious disease department, another is hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 57 are convalescing at home.

The number of negative people rises to 457, 25 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.

Since the beginning of the Covid emergency, 21,711 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 264 in the last 24 hours. To date, 298 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 4,672 have completed the isolation period.

The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia.
