The participation of Sunday, September 20, did not break through: last night at 11 pm the participation for the referendum stood at 39.38 percent. In addition to cutting parliamentarians, Italian citizens are called to the polls for regional elections (in Valle d’Aosta, Veneto, Liguria, Tuscany, Marche, Campania and Puglia: here the guide with all the candidates), municipal (as well as a thousand municipalities to vote: here they are) and supplementary (in Veneto and Sardinia). Here, too, participation is not affected. In the regions summoned to vote for the administrative ones, the turnout at 11:00 p.m. is higher than the national average: this is the case of the Marche region, where at 11:00 p.m. 47.56% of the with the right to vote; from the Aosta Valley, with 56.37%; from Liguria, 44.07%; from Veneto, with 51.04%; from Tuscany, 48.29%; from Puglia, 43.71%, Campania, 42.80%.
In Abruzzo, the participation was 36.47%; in Basilicata, 36.96%; in Calabria 32.96%; in Emilia-Romagna by 41.58%; in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 36.34%; in Lazio of 33.06; in Lombardy 39.01; in Molise 33.35; in Piedmont 38.81; in Sardinia 23.41%; in Sicily 24.91; in Trentino-Alto Adige 54.42%; in Umbria 33.09%.

The elections of fear, fault of the government. Wrong vote? Mannheimer's great doubt

Similar figures for the Regionals: Campania 38.92%; Liguria 39.29%; Puglia 39.84%; Veneto 46.12%. In all cases, the participation rate in the Regionals is lower than that corresponding to the referendum. Operations will end at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, after which the first polls will be announced. One thing is certain: for almost all pollsters a low turnout would favor yes to the referendum and the center-right in the regions.
